FAQ

What if there is a storm on race day and the swim distance is cut or eliminated?

While this is rare, it will be next to impossible to know or calculate whether you would have gone sub-10 in such a scenario. As a result, Ho’Omau Endurance will only accept race results where the entire 140.6 race distance was completed.

How do you select the winner?

Our Sub-10 Challenge Committee will look at several factors, including 1) that you went sub-10 in a full-distance Ironman or Challenge Family race, 2) your age as this plays some role in how realistic a sub-10 performance is, and 3) what your 140.6 race performances have been in the past, such as frequency or racing, finish times and overall years in the sport.
