The Architecture of Endurance
Ho’Omau Endurance was forged in 2024 on the shores of Waikiki Beach, Oahu, by serial entrepreneur and veteran endurance athlete Andy Funk. While the company was conceptualized in Hawaii, the blueprint for Ho’Omau had been in development since 2014 in Andy’s home state – California—waiting for the precise moment where sports science, global connectivity, and athlete necessity converged.
The name Ho’Omau was chosen for its resonance with the “Long-Term” athlete. It is a word that demands persistence, perpetuation, and an unwavering commitment to the pursuit. Based in Santa Monica, California, we have evolved from a singular vision into a global infrastructure designed to support the athlete through every stage of their evolution.
