Customizing your Notification Settings

All of the features on the Ho'Omau website are built on an underlying social network, allowing each and every member to communicate and collaborate with each other - be that a group of athletes getting together for a group ride, a coach and an athlete working on a training plan, or members of one of our endurance clubs organizing an event. When communication occurs via our Athlete Chat, Member Directory, Athlete Ramblings discussion forum, or one of our dedicated running, cycling or triathlon local club pages, notifications are sent to the respective users.

There are two type of notifications: E-mail and Web Notifications. Each can be customized via your Account Settings page. E-mail notifications need no explanation, they arrive in your inbox. Web notifications appear via an icon on our site after you are logged in - you can find it in the lower right corner. Simply click the icon to review any recent notifications you have received. If there are no recent notifications, the icon will disappear by itself after a short while.

If you create a post, receive a reply or reply to someone else's post on the Athlete Ramblings board, you are automatically subscribed to updates that are related to these post entries. You can easily manage your subscriptions to posts or replies and update your settings.
