Aero Bars

Aero bars are a type of handlebar that allows cyclists to ride lower and narrower to cut down on wind resistance. They are utilized primarily in time trials and triathlons. Aero bars conserve energy and enable cyclists to ride faster for extended periods. Aero bars make riding more comfortable by altering the position of the rider. Riders rest their forearms on pads and grip bars in front, which lowers and stabilizes them. It takes practice and good core strength to use them effectively, but it can greatly enhance cycling endurance.
