Did Not Race (DNR)

Did Not Race (DNR) is when an athlete registered for an event then did not participate for some reason. This is not the same as Did Not Start (DNS), in which the competitor is present for the event but will not begin the race. DNR typically indicates that the competitor did not show up, or they departed prior to the event for personal, med, or other reasons. This is how event promoters track athletes who do not participate prior to race day.
