Endo

An endo, or “end-over-end,” is where the rider flips forward onto the handlebars during an accident. It occurs when the rider suddenly brakes, the front wheel is stuck, or the rider hits an unexpected road hazard. Even though endos may be spectacular, they can lead to shoulder, wrist, or head injuries. Riders can prevent these forward flips during training or competitions by proper handling of the bike, weight-balancing, and observing the environment.
