Ho’Omau Endurance

HoʻOmau Endurance is rooted in the Hawaiian concept of “hoʻomau,” to persevere and not quit. The team utilizes an easy six-step model: Learn, Plan, Test, Train, Race, and Connect. This system allows you to learn the basics and set yourself ready for race day and beyond. You can find lessons through sports science articles, view technique videos, develop a training guide, or conduct pace work with performance testing. Each step transitions to the next one, and you are able to build consistent and lasting gains.

Training tools consist of movement improvement programs and correction exercises, as well as structured workouts and multi-day camps in dedicated performance centers. Advanced technology such as GPS coaching devices, power and heart rate monitoring, and devices such as the Garmin Forerunner are also available to athletes to ensure each session is data-driven and has an objective. For the actual race, HoʻOmau offers course previews, strategy consultation, and course-support teams to assist the racers in competing at an optimal level whether attempting personal best or the podium.

HoʻOmau is very much committed to community and friendship. Its world-wide chapters and clubs, online and in-person, assist its members through group training, mentorship, and live meetups with the philosophy of “nobody left behind.” Athletes at every level, from new beginner teams to the best-of-the-best age-group teams, are able to develop, train, and thrive. HoʻOmau Endurance unites learning, technology, and human interaction for a lifetime of endurance athletics.
