Intervals

Intervals are training sessions that consist of multiple hard exercises and easy or recovery exercises. For instance, a session on the track might consist of running 6 times 800 meters at high speed with 400-meter easy jogs in between. Intervals improve specific energy systems, enhance pace, and condition the body to eliminate lactate efficiently.
