Most Aggressive Rider
The Combativity or Most Aggressive Rider is the rider who is most on the attack during the race, initiating the breakaways or covering huge distances. The organizers choose one rider on every day and award them the red race number for the next stage.
This prize is unique from timed or points awards since it is a prize for bravery and action. Riders who are no longer in the title contention can still receive an award for riding aggressively. The prize for overall combativity is awarded at the conclusion of the stage race to the rider who is most consistently brave and aggressive, demonstrating that excitement and hard work are equally important as the ultimate results.
