Paris–Roubaix is a renowned single-day bicycle race held each spring in northern France. Nicknamed the “Hell of the North,” its 250 km-long course runs through the countryside and includes numerous cobblestone sections.
Founded in 1896, Paris–Roubaix tests how skilled and strong riders are on cobbled and usually muddy roads. The winners receive a cobblestone award and are referred to as “Riders of the Sky.” Its iconic finish in the Roubaix Velodrome makes the race part of the five most significant cycling races. Riders and bike technicians toil to transform frames, tires, and suspension for the arduous track.
