Passport

A passport in adventure racing is a multi-page book that each team or competitor carries along to the event. It must get signed or stamped at each Passport Control Point (PCP) to indicate that the correct path was taken.

Loss or alteration of a passport results in disqualification. Passports allow competition to remain fair and track progress through various courses. Teams present passports to officials at every PCP, typically checkpoints, transition points, or aid stations, to verify they are abiding by rules of the race and moving in the right direction.
