Race Packet

A race packet consists of materials released to individuals when they register for an event.

You typically receive this at packet pickup. It contains the race number or bib, timing chip or sticker, safety pins, course maps, sponsor gifts (coupons, samples), and critical instructions for race day. Some packets include technical shirts, hats, or nutrition samples. Early packet pickup prevents crowds the day before the race, and on-site pickup is offered for late registrants. Having an organized packet and reviewing what’s inside ensures athletes have all they need for a smooth race.
