Repetition (Rep)

A rep or repetition is performing an exercise once.
In interval workouts, each hard-effort segment (e.g., a 400m swim or 1km run).
In strength training, a complete repetition of a resistance exercise (such as a single squat or a single bicep curl).
Repetitions in bunches help form workouts that concentrate on specific muscle or energy systems. Resting between repetitions also affects the improvement in endurance, strength or muscle building.
