Turbo

A turbo trainer is a machine you ride in your home. It attaches to the rear wheel and increases the effort of pedaling for workouts. It allows cyclists to ride in a stationary location, replicating the outdoor ride without concern for traffic, weather conditions, or varied surfaces.

Today you have everything from simple trainers to intelligent trainers that hook up to apps such as Zwift or TrainerRoad. Smart trainers adjust resistance automatically according to your ride and simulate hills, wind resistance, or following the bike in front. Turbos work wonderfully for winter workouts, for interval workouts, or for specific exercises and deliver consistency, monitor data, and save you time.
