Wipeout

A wipeout occurs when a person falls or crashes and loses balance immediately, without being able to keep themselves stable. It occurs in cycling, the triathlon, or swimming in the open water and tends to make a cyclist or a swimmer lose a significant amount of speed or lose their spot in the race.
