You can control the settings for who can send you a chat message by clicking the settings wheel in the lower left corner of our Athlete Chat system. These settings will only apply to chat messages and will not change your friend request or notification settings, which you can adjust on your Account Settings page. Remember that if you are working with a coach and communicate using our Athlete Chat, you will no longer receive incoming messages if you block all users from contacting you via chat. Therefore, we recommend that you send your coach a friend request and enable "only friends" to be able to send you incoming messages instead.
