Pattern Correction™ is a custom, individualized strength training program that provides the endurance athlete with an exercise roadmap and routine that identifies and addresses overactive tissue and underactive tissue, which create imbalances in the body which are counteractive to optimal performance. These areas are then isolated via integrated dynamic movement training.
In order to create a proper Pattern Correction roadmap for you, a full Kinetic Audit is setup, creating a comprehensive assessment of your strength, weaknesses, mobility, flexibility, range of motion, limitations, restrictions and common problematic movement patterns. The data and analysis from your Kinetic Audit is then taken to develop a specific Pattern Correction training program that addresses all relevant issues over a period of time, allowing you to exercise and develop equilibrium across your kinetic chain to maximally improve athletic performance.
The Ho’Omau Pattern Correction program incorporates a combination of myofascial inhibition techniques, various forms of static, dynamic and neuromuscular mobility and isolated muscular strength routines to address underactive and lengthened tissue, and integrated dynamic movement exercises to promote intermuscular coordination until your body has obtained optimal and maximal balance across the entire kinetic chain. Depending on your Kinetic Audit assessment and the quantity of issues discovered, the length of this program can range from a few months to well over a year.
